Coronavirus Notes

The year 2021 had promise that things would turn around for the entertainment world. Night Clubs, Festivals, Shows, Dances and most entertainment venues were closed or significantly reduced during this pandemic in 2019 and 2020. In 2021 the vaccines were becoming more and more available and more folks were getting their vaccinations. As this was happening, the CDC generated updated guidelines and each state responded according to their numbers, etc. CDC guidelines were changing with the increase in covid variant spikes in 2021. The year 2021 ended up in fairly good shape as far as new outbreaks and the year 2022 is indicating even better numbers.

Z Barn had it's ninth 2021 barn dance on December 11, 2021. The dance was a lot of fun with a full house, great buffet and plenty of dancing and socializing. This was our last dance until spring of 2022. Z Barn closed for January and February 2022 and re-opened on Saturday, March 26, 2022 for our first barn dance of the year. During 2022 Z Barn had 9 barn dances with zero incidents related to the pandemic. Attendance was nearly 100% vaccinated, tablecloths and chairs were wiped down with disinfectant for each dance.

The year 2023 should return to more normalcy and we're looking forward to a great year!

Enjoy that old barn dance atmosphere

with our Cannonball Express house band and guest performers.

A great covered dish buffet each month brought by attendees. Our first 2023 barn dance took place on Saturday, March 11 from 6 to 9PM.

Z Barn is a private, no charge event each month. Attendees are invited through our monthly e-mail newsletter (e-mail Gloria at: clutzy5917@aol.com and bring a covered dish or snacks. Z Barn is smoke free inside the barn and mostly beer and alcohol free. We provide setup supplies for the buffet table, coffee, water, soda, and freshly popped popcorn. We have a donation box at the front entrance/exit to the barn to help cover expenses - donations always welcomed, never expected.
